Errol Walsh will be joined by Ed Deane (including Joe Murray) on bass and harmonies, a trio offering a selection of country, blues and folk steeped in the Americana tradition - expect some fine picking and seasoned vocals and harmonies from this experienced trio.

From speedy washboard/resonator driven Roots Music to gritty roadhouse style Blues/Rock, all the while eschewing the plodding 12-bars and standard covers, The HardChargers have performed across the island of Ireland since 2009.

Anthony Toner returns to Ards Arts Centre 2018 with some new songs under his belt and applause still ringing in his ears from the success of his last album Ink, which has been his most well-received collection to date.

Recently honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award by the Ards International Guitar Festival, Sarah McQuaid has also drawn critical praise for her voice (which has been variously likened to malt whiskey and melted chocolate) and her engaging rapport with audiences.

Hailing from Portaferry, Ryan McMullan is a fresh new talent on the singer/songwriter scene and in the short space of three years has made his way from small Irish clubs to playing in arenas when he supported Ed Sheeran on his 31 dates UK tour in 2017.

Runabay are a six-piece indie-folk band from Belfast and the Glens of Antrim,  creating a soundscape rooted in place and shaped by the beautiful local landscape and coastline. With uplifting melodies, beautiful harmonies, and complex instrumentation, their music will appeal to fans of artists like José Gonzalez and Fleet Foxes.

Dana will be showcasing new material delivered in her trademark velvet tones. Performing with a band of exceptional musicians, this is sure to be an evening to remember in this beautiful intimate setting of Bangor Castle.

The Ards International Guitar Festival is back with a bang in April 2018 with a fresh new programme of guitar inspired gigs, free fringe events, guitar clinics with industry professionals and an exhibition featuring many of your guitar heroes by Steve McDowell.

In Edinburgh Between 1827 and 1828 science and murder cling together in a dance of death. Sixteen people are slaughtered by Burke and Hare and the devil and all his works prowls the streets of 'Auld Reekie'.
