Visual Artists Cafe: Creating and Curating Spaces (Thinking Outside the Box)

This is a partnership project between Ards and North Down Borough Council and Visual Artists Ireland. Identifying a need amongst the arts community this programme has been devised to support professional practicing artists and crafts people to develop their careers. We are pleased to be able to bring this programme to you, however it is essential to book via the Visual Artists Ireland website to secure your place: www.visualartists.org.uk/booking

Time:             6-9pm

Price:             Ards and North Down BC residents £5 / Visitors £10 per session

Tonya McMullan (Prime Collection and The Bathhouse) will facilitate two workshops exploring techniques for creating coherent, intelligent group or solo exhibitions in non-traditional spaces. Artists often produce self-curated group exhibitions with their peers; this workshop will deal with both the planning and delivery of such projects.

    Rooms in Ards Arts Centre can be hired by members of the public for a variety of uses including meetings, conferences, and events.
