Ballinglen Arts Foundation Bursary

Ards and North Down Arts is offering a bursary for a two-week Studio Residency at Ballinglen Arts Foundation for professional artists to work on their own creative practice.

The bursary is open to professional practitioners of visual arts or crafts, living within Ards and North Down Borough Council. Applicants must be 18 years+.

Ballinglen Arts Foundation is an Irish non-profit organisation located in the village of Ballycastle on the sea coast of North County Mayo in the Republic of Ireland.

The residency is aimed at professional practicing visual artists and crafts people providing them the time to develop their artistic practice. Artists are provided with accommodation as well as an artist studio to work in.

The practitioners will be selected based upon their previous achievements and the project they intend to undertake during their residency / or how the workshop will support their professional development.

The selected Artist Residency or workshop should take place within 12 months of receipt of their award.
